Report a Policy Violation
For those who have many watchers, and for those who don’t have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.

Here is a portrait on someone special that I've recently met.
 This is done completely from memory seeing as I don't have any photos with her in them...yet. I think I got it pretty close, but I'll have to leave it up to her to decide I suppose. But in the mean time, I thought I'd let all you wonderful people that watch me see that I can draw realistic people. I'd have to say this is my most realistic one to date actually. I don't think there are any glaring anatomy mistakes.  If you do see any please don't feel as though you shouldn't say so. I'd really like to know so that I can improve this piece and also improve overall. Well that's it. Enjoy. |

Anyways, I think this is drawn very well and the coloring is great too. The hair kinda looks like it was rushed (it looks very thick, like you can't even run your hand through it) Does that make sense? But it still a very pretty drawing.
That's one of the things I'm still working on.
Hair has been tricky for me to get correct, it just difficult for me get it right for some reason.
But thanks for the comment, I'll just have to keep working on the hair.

I actually did this in a single day which is quite a thing for me.
I tend to start an art project and then re-evaluate as I go.
I think I've begun to make a turn in my art.
I'm not as over analyzing as I used to be.
I'm actually working on a few more portraits of family members right now.

Its sort of like a switch got flicked in my head or something.
So hopefully the switch will stay where it is.
I'm trying to decide whether to update this one with the newer version where I fixed the hair to be more realistic.
But Christine seems to like this one, so I'll have to think about it.
If anything I might submit a totally new one, even though it's basically the same just a bit neater hair.
